Everydayness

Does anyone else sometimes get to feeeling a little down by the sheer everydayness of everyday-type activities? We had errands to run today, a back room to rearrange, a haircut to get, some shopping to do, a pool to clean, plants to water and move. We didn't even get to play with the grandkids. It's all the kind of stuff we can't afford to let go too long or chores will get away from us, but I would rather have spent the day reading and thinking and blogging. Now I'm tired. Ah, well ...
