Another view of Plamegate

Here's a view of Plamegate from Robert Parry, who views the "outing" of Valerie Plame and the entire campaign to discredit her husband, Joe Wilson, a bit more seriously than I do. I would not be surprised if there was a concerted effort to discredit Wilson, who wrote the famous NYT op-ed discounting (quite properly) the bogus claim that Saddam was actively seeking nuclear material in Niger in Africa. But it strikes me as more political -- underhandedly political, to be sure, but political -- than criminal. (Assuming the political is not by definition criminal, which is a possibility worth considering.)
