Double-standard on Geithner

The Senate approved Tim Geithner as Treasury Secretary today. He may well be an able person, but if you or I had "neglected" to pay more than $30,000 on federal taxes we wouldn't be hearing complimentary speeches from the world most dubious deliberative body. More likely they'd be demanding jail time. But both Reps and Dems seemed to want him, so once again a member of the political/bureaucratic class gets a pass.
