George Tenet's book

Here's a link to the book review I did for this Sunday's Register Commentary section of former CIA director George Tenet's new book, "At the Center of the Storm." The book is worth reading, if only for the fascination of watching Tenet distance himself from the administration while never once writing a word of criticism of George W. Bush. If you're interested in a more comprehensive picture, however, it would be well to read a lot more. Try George Packer's "The Assassin's Gate," or Larry Diamond's "Squandered Victory."

Have you read The Italian Letter? What about A Pretext for War?

Any thoughts or comparisions?

I haven't read either of those books, but I will put them on my reading list.
