Unadulerated congratulations, Barry

Well, Barry Bonds has finally hit home run #756, breaking Hank Aaron's record. I congratulate him without reservations. May there be many more now that the pressure is lifted. I think I'll go crack open another cold one. Later with some arguments that the record really doesn't mean all that much in a team game.

Personally, I feel that Bonds, McQwire, and their ilk should be noted '*'s -- and the reason specifically noted! Hank Aaron, et al, did everything under their own steam, effort, and 'will'/whatever. Not that having the timing the sense of time required is any small task, but at least they did it Clean.
